Service Description
This introductory WATSU® session is designed for clients who are new to aquatic bodywork and want a gentle, supported first experience in the water. Offered in warm water, the session focuses on simple floating, slow movements, and moments of stillness to help you feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. Rather than deep stretches or complex sequences, this trial experience emphasizes trust-building, breath awareness, and nervous-system calming. You’ll be fully supported throughout, with plenty of time to adjust, ask questions, and settle into the rhythm of the water. Many first-time clients describe the experience as calming, grounding, and surprisingly restorative. This session is a wonderful introduction if you’re curious about WATSU® but unsure what to expect.
Cancellation Policy
Starshine Wellness Booking Policies Appointments Sessions are available by appointment only and can be booked online or by direct request. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first session to allow time for intake and to settle in. Cancellation & Rescheduling Life happens, and I appreciate as much notice as possible. • Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours in advance without charge. • Cancellations within 24 hours will be subject to a 50% fee. • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session price. This policy allows me to honor my time and make space for other clients who may be waiting for an opening. Late Arrivals If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time so that other appointments are not affected. The full session fee will still apply. Health & Wellness Considerations Massage is most beneficial when received in a healthy state. If you are feeling ill, have a fever, or are experiencing contagious symptoms, please reschedule your session. There is no penalty for rescheduling due to illness. Consent-Based Care Your comfort and autonomy are central to every session. Pressure, techniques, and focus areas will always be adjusted with clear communication and consent. You are welcome to pause, adjust, or end the session at any time. Payment Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods will be listed when booking.
